Technical Co-founder or first Platform Engineer:

• Must be senior level in both cloud infrastructure and software engineering and staff+ in one.

  • 10-30% equity split depending on industry experience and startup experience
  • Salary only after first investment (conservative estimate 2-5 months, already in talks)
• For early/first engineer, paid moonlight contracting till first investment (2-5 months)
  • Noted salaries are with pre-seed investment. Salaries, top at 175k across the board till revenue goals or subsequent rounds of funding and all salaries are moved toward market rate.
  • Staff: 2-3% equity + 150k salary (generally 8+ YoE)
  • Principal:3-6% equity + 175k salary (generally 12+ YoE)
  • Note most startups’ early hire equity is in the .25-2% equity range. We are looking for someone aligned with the mission to have a solid stake in the company.

Product Advisor: Product leader that has worked in cloud infrastructure or developer tooling space.

Founder and Mission: I have been the first hire/engineer at multiple startups through scale. Most recently helping atomic.financial go from an empty repo to supporting customers like US Bank and Paypal. I have always been frustrated by the amount of resources taken away from the direct mission during the growth phase to build cloud and devX foundations. The cloud-lite vendors (Digital Ocean, Render, Railway) offer good to great experience, but with too many limitations for high growth or technically complex companies. Our mission is to reduce the friction for small tech companies to hit their stride by bringing a great experience to the big clouds.
